Zach described my eyes in the most beautiful way and it left me speechless.

"Your eyes...have always shown me the real you..." I whisper.

"What? I don't get pools of melted chocolate?" He teases, caressing my jaw. "You can see right inside me. You always have."

"Because it's all right there in your eyes...: I say softly. "You've never been able to hide it...not from me. Maybe from others you can but all I need to know...I can see clearly in your eyes..."

He's so quiet... and then he nods but doesn't speak. I hold him carefully. "I have you... if you can't talk just yet... it's ok... just... I just want to know I didn't-- do any damage..." I rasp.

I shake my head and hear Zach say my name...hear the panicked question in his voice. "No damage..." I assure him. "I'm okay..."

His voice is so soft. "You're sure? If you're not...please tell me."
